Fifteen area residents were arrested this morning on charges of drug trafficking as part several months-long narcotics investigation police have named "Operation Pill Crusher."
At least one more who currently is serving time in Green River Correctional Complex also faces charges in connection to the investigation by the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force, according to a news release.
Of those arrested, 14 are accused of trafficking in hydrocodone pills and four oxycodone, according to police.
The charges came after indictments were issued by the Hardin County grand jury.
