RADCLIFF — A Radcliff police officer involved in a crash at U.S. 31W and Ky. 434 around midnight Friday was uninjured and the driver of the vehicle with which his cruiser collided has been treated for injuries and released from medical care.
According to Radcliff Police Department’s Capt. Jeff Cross, Officer John Miller was southbound on U.S. 31W on routine patrol when the driver of a 1989 Chevy entered the cruiser’s path from Ky. 434.
Kentucky State Police sent four units and investigated the cause of the collision. The agency was unable to provide details of the wreck Monday, but a dispatcher confirmed the driver of the Chevy was reported by the investigating trooper to have initiated the wreck.
The driver’s name and age was unavailable. That driver was treated and released Saturday from Hardin Memorial Hospital, police said.
