ELIZABETHTOWN — Elizabethtown police are looking for the public’s help identifying a woman suspected of using a stolen credit card at numerous retailers in the area after a purse containing the card was stolen from a customer at Towne Mall recently.
According to EPD Detective Clinton Turner, the woman captured on the surveillance image was using the victim’s bank card at JC’s Tobacco Outlet on West Dixie Avenue. She is the prime suspect in a theft of the purse.
Turner said he hopes someone will recognize the woman captured by surveillance video and report her identity to EPD or Hardin County Crime Stoppers. She is wearing a blue shirt in the video image.
Hardin County Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspected criminals.
