By CHUCK JONES cjones@thenewsenterprise.com CECILIA — Central Hardin senior Chris Nichols wasn’t looking for a particular pitch when he came to bat in the second inning, but he found the one that suited him best. Meanwhile, junior Anthony Thorn didn’t give the John Hardin Bulldogs too many pitches to their liking. Nichols smacked a three-run home run to cap a six-run second inning, Thorn tossed a shutout and the Bruins rolled to a 6-0 victory over the John Hardin Bulldogs in a 17th District game Saturday afternoon at Central Hardin.
