By CHUCK JONES cjones@thenewsenterprise.com RADCLIFF — When John Hardin senior Derek Hensley takes the field this season, he knows he’s going one of two places: Either to shortstop or the mound. That hasn’t always been the case for Hensley. Hensley grew up playing shortstop but when he arrived at John Hardin his path was blocked by Levi Hardin, who graduated last year. Hensley saw action at third base his freshman and sophomore seasons, and last year, he had to check the lineup card to find out where he was.
