RADCLIFF — It took the LaRue County Hawks a little while to get their offense going in their season opener against the homestanding North Hardin Trojans on Tuesday, but after 2 2/3 hitless innings, it was smooth sailing.
With two outs in the top of the third, the Hawks drove in five runs, including a two-run homer by Keaton Gardner, and LaRue County cruised to a 10-0 win at James R. Aldridge Field.
