LEBANON — This is what Central Hardin coach Todd Thompson envisioned when he took over the Bruin baseball program six years ago. He expected to build a program to not only get to the 5th Region Tournament, but compete for region championships. Last year, the Bruins took a major step, reaching the region finals for only the second time in school history. But that game was not one to remember for the Bruins. Or was it? Although Elizabethtown pounded Central Hardin, 11-1, that loss was never too far from the Bruins’ minds.
