PREP BASEBALL ROUNDUP: Bulldogs rally past Breck (03/22)

Junior Lavonte Wilson’s RBI infield single in the bottom of the eighth inning lifted the John Hardin Bulldogs to a 5-4 win over Breckinridge County on Thursday.

Wilson drove in freshman Garrison McMillen, who was pinch-running for junior Brian Panckey – who gave the Bulldogs (3-2) a 4-2 lead in the third with a three-run double. Junior Dale Gumm doubled for John Hardin, while senior Montaque Pittman and sophomore Dakoda Rothermel each had two singles.

Sophomore Dajour Strong (2-0) got the win in relief. He struck out one, walked one and gave up one hit in two innings.

LOUISVILLE BETH HAVEN 9, FORT KNOX 5. The visiting Bearcats jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the top of the first en route to their first win this season.

Freshman Coltinn Stabler had an RBI single for the Eagles, while sophomore Jon Box had two singles.

Fort Knox (1-5) committed eight errors.
