Junior right-hander Josh Krupinski and sophomore Luke McCamish combined on a no-hitter as the ninth-ranked Central Hardin Bruins routed Louisville Southern, 12-0 in five innings Wednesday.
Krupinski (1-0) struck out five and walked two in three innings, while McCamish had one strikeout in two innings.
The Bruins (2-0) pounded out 14 hits – all singles. Central Hardin coach Todd Thompson said a strong wind blowing in from the outfield led to both teams playing their outfielders closer to the infield.
Sophomore Britton Elmore had three singles, three RBIs and two runs, while senior Zachary Ditto and junior Troy Riggs each had two singles, two runs and an RBI. Senior Drew Harrington singled twice, scored three times and drove in a run.
