Freshman right-hander Hunter Sullivan picked up his third win of the season Monday, leading the visiting Elizabethtown Panthers to a 5-1 win over Allen County-Scottsville.

Sullivan (3-0) gave up four walks, three hits and one earned run in four innings.

Elizabethtown (5-1) jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first before pulling away with a three-run fifth. Senior Garrett Morgan paced Elizabethtown with two singles and two runs, while sophomore Zeke Pinkham singled, doubled and drove in two runs.

Senior Cannon Pender and sophomore Cody Bridges each had a single and double.

NO. 7 CENTRAL HARDIN 4, COLUMBUS (OHIO) WHETSTONE 1. Junior Spencer Lucas struck out 11 as the Bruins (8-0) topped Whetstone in the Derby City Classic at Louisville Southern.

Lucas walked four and gave up one earned run in 4 2/3 innings.

Senior Zach Ditto singled, tripled, scored twice and drove in a run, while senior Troy Squires singled and scored twice. Junior Troy Riggs added an RBI single.

LOUISVILLE HOLY CROSS 8, JOHN HARDIN 1. The Cougars jumped out to an 8-0 lead after four innings and never looked back as they beat the Bulldogs (3-7) in the Thomas Nelson Spring Break Bash.

John Hardin couldn’t take advantage of three doubles by junior Dale Gumm.

Juniors Lavonte Wilson and Brian Panckey, sophomore Dakoda Rothermel and freshman Landen Sisk each singled for the Bulldogs.

REYNOLDSBURG (OHIO) 13, LARUE COUNTY 0. Already up 7-0, Reynoldsburg blew the game open with a six-run seventh and handed the Hawks (4-8) their second straight loss in the Florida Beach Bash.

LaRue County was limited to two hits – singles by junior Austin McDowell and senior Cole Hughes.

McDowell took the loss as he allowed three runs, three walks and one hit in 1 2/3 innings.

MEADE COUNTY SPLITS TWINBILL WITH MURRAY. The visiting Green Wave (5-5) won Game 1, 2-1 and lost Game 2, 4-3.

n Senior Derek Bruner doubled to drive in junior Keith Carter, who led off the seventh with a single, to lift the Green Wave in Game 1.

Senior Zach Kullman singled and scored a run for Meade County, while senior Jake Wilson had a single.

Carter improved to 3-0 on the season. He struck out three and gave up six hits and one unearned run in the complete game.

n Murray scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to rally past the Green Wave in Game 2.

Jake Wilson and Carter each had an RBI single, while junior Zeb Wilson doubled.

Sophomore Logan Hicks (0-1) gave up eight hits and four earned runs in 6 1/3 innings. He struck out three.
