Junior Charlie Davidson singled in what proved to be the game-winning run, lifting the homestanding Fort Knox Eagles to a 6-5 win over 17th District rival North Hardin on Tuesday. With the win, the Eagles (7-13 overall, 1-6 in district) own the tiebreaker over the Trojans for the fourth seed in the upcoming district tournament. Freshman Scott Heideman singled, drove in a run and scored a run, while senior Matt Livingston singled twice, drove in a run and scored a run. Livingston (4-4) allowed one hit and two walks in two innings of relief of junior Kyle Gramig. Junior Levi Duncan struck out four in the loss. Senior Desmond Goodman tripled, singled, drove in a run, scored a run and stole a base, while freshman Isaac Coty doubled, drove in a run and scored a run.
