The Elizabethtown Panthers picked up a pair of road wins over the weekend.
Elizabethtown beat 5th Region foe Thomas Nelson, 21-3 in six innings Saturday and held off Louisville Fairdale, 3-2 on Friday.
n The Panthers (16-6) pounded out 19 hits and scored nine runs in the third inning and 10 more in the sixth as they routed Thomas Nelson.
Sophomore Zeke Pinkham had three singles, a double and drove in three runs, while senior Garrett Morgan had three singles and five RBIs. Sophomore Cody Bridges chipped in with three singles, and freshman Hunter Sullivan added two doubles, a single and four RBIs.
Morgan (3-0) struck out seven, while allowing six hits, three earned runs and one walk in five innings.
n Freshman Jack Wilson hit a two-run single and Morgan singled to drive in another run in the third to lift Elizabethtown past Fairdale.
Sullivan singled twice, while Pinkham doubled and singled.
Sullivan (5-2) struck out five in four innings. He gave up five walks, three hits and one earned run. Bridges struck out two and walked one in three innings for the save.

Senior Derek Bruner doubled and singled, while freshmen Kase Mattingly and Jacob Bewley each singled.
Junior Keith Carter took the loss. He struck out seven, while giving up seven walks, three hits and one earned run.

FORT KNOX GOES 0-3. The Eagles (3-21) lost both games of a doubleheader at Frankfort on Saturday. Frankfort won 8-5 and 12-2.
Fort Knox also lost to Louisville Central for the second time in four days Friday, falling 6-5.

FRIDAY: CAMPBELLSVILLE 8, JOHN HARDIN 6 (10 INNINGS). The homestanding Bulldogs (9-16) lost their fourth straight and for the 10th time in their last 12 games as Campbellsville scored two in the 10th to win it.
The Bulldogs lost despite getting 13 hits. Junior Lavonte Wilson doubled and singled, while freshman Will Muir and junior Brian Panckey each had two singles.
Panckey took the loss in relief of sophomore Dajour Strong. Panckey allowed three walks and three earned runs in five innings. He struck out five.

Freshman Jill Hughes hit an RBI single and scored three runs, while junior Brigitte Skaggs doubled and drove in three runs. Junior Courtney Johnson, sophomore Trishtian Cruse and freshman Shakeya Washington each had a hit and an RBI, while freshman Haleigh Gregory had two singles and an RBI.
Sophomore Emillee Cundiff (4-3) struck out four, while allowing seven hits, two walks and one earned run in six innings.
