PREP BASKETBALL: Braden leaves JHHS for Nelson County (5/25)

By CHUCK JONES cjones@thenewsenterprise.com RADCLIFF — It wasn’t an easy decision for Artie Braden, but in the end, the chance to go back home was too good to pass up. Braden, who built John Hardin into a 5th Region power in seven years, took the Nelson County boys’ basketball job Friday. He replaces Minor Harmon, who retired at the end of the season after 27 years with the school – nine years with the girls’ program and 18 with boys’ program. “The call of home was pretty pulling,” Braden said.
