Junior Aislynn Barnes scored 13 points and junior Shelby Maggard scored 12 as the Central Hardin Lady Bruins beat 5th Region rival Taylor County, 50-33 on Friday night – giving Kristina Covington her first win as a head coach.
Barnes also had three steals, two assists and two rebounds, while Maggard had seven rebounds, four assists and one block.
Sophomore Autumn Jaggers and freshman reserve Jasmine Zaehringer each scored eight points.
