Junior guard Ivy Brown had a double-double as the visiting LaRue County Lady Hawks moved one step closer to locking up the No. 1 seed for the 18th District Tournament.
Brown had 22 points, 15 rebounds, four assists and four steals as LaRue County topped Caverna, 47-42 on Saturday.
Sophomore guard Alexis Brewer chipped in with 17 points, eight rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Lady Hawks (16-4, 5-0 district), who won their fifth straight.

CENTRAL HARDIN 62, THOMAS NELSON 58. Eighth-grade guard Mariah Helton scored 16 points as the visiting Lady Bruins (3-18) snapped a four-game losing skid.
Junior guard Aislynn Barnes chipped in with 13 points, three assists and two rebounds, while sophomore forward Melanie Humphrey had 11 points, eight rebounds and three steals.
Eighth-grade guard Emily Kerr scored eight points for Central Hardin, which won for the first time since Jan. 11.

Senior forward Maya Luney scored eight points and grabbed six rebounds.

Senior guard Kelton Ford led LaRue County (13-6, 4-1 district) with 22 points, nine steals, eight rebounds and four assists, while junior forward Tyler Howell had 12 points and six rebounds.
Senior guard Dustin Coulter added 11 points, three steals and two assists, while junior forward Kody Key-Close neared a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.
Junior guard Michael Neal scored 10 for the Hawks, who outscored the Colonels 47-24 in the second and third quarters.
