Senior forward Megan Aebersold scored 14 points and seven teammates scored at least six as the visiting Meade County Lady Waves rolled past 11th District foe Cloverport Frederick Fraize, 83-18 on Saturday.
Aebersold also had seven rebounds, five assists and two steals, while junior guard Autumn Bruner chipped in with 11 points and six rebounds. Junior guard Ellie DeVries had 10 points, two rebounds and two assists for the Lady Waves (16-8, 5-1 district), who were playing without sophomore Morgan Turner.
Sophomore guard Kelsey Sutton scored nine, while sophomore guard Elissa Youart and junior guard Raley Johnson each scored eight. Karissa Reader and Lauren Claycomb each scored six for Meade County, which led 31-2 after the first quarter.

LARUE COUNTY SPLITS TWO GAMES. The Lady Hawks (18-5) lost to 5th Region rival Adair County, 52-43 on Saturday and beat 18th District foe Green County, 62-57 on Friday.
n Junior guard Ivy Brown and sophomore guard Alexis Brewer each recorded a double-double, but LaRue County’s seven-game winning streak was snapped in the loss to Adair County.
Brown led the Lady Hawks with 17 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and three steals, while Brewer had 14 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals. Senior forward Haley Holt chipped in with seven points.
n Brewer had 25 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and three assists as LaRue County locked up the No. 1 seed in the district tournament with a win over Green County.
Brown added 16 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two assists, while Holt scored 13. Senior forward Alisha Durbin grabbed 11 rebounds and had five assists and three steals.
