Since a season-opening 21-point loss to Louisville Ballard, the North Hardin Lady Trojans have been on quite a roll.
They’ve reeled off 10 straight wins, including going 4-0 to win the Muhlenberg County Christmas Tournament.
Junior guard Kiera Jones had 14 points, three assists and three steals and senior forward Chanel Roberts had a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds as the Lady Trojans beat Muhlenberg County, 57-44 on Saturday.
Junior guard Domeneque Taft chipped in with 11 points, four steals and three assists as she earned championship game MVP honors.
n Earlier Saturday, freshman guard Tamiah Stanford scored 13 points and Taft had 11 points, three assists and two steals to lead the Lady Trojans to a 45-40 win over George Rogers Clark in the tournament semifinals.
Roberts chipped in with seven points and five rebounds, while senior forward Brianna Edmunds scored six.

ELIZABETHTOWN 65, LINCOLN COUNTY 60. The Lady Panthers (7-2) couldn’t hold a 20-point lead, letting the Lady Patriots tie it at 55 with 3:22 left to play.
But senior forward Alexis Powell and freshman forward Erin Boley combined to hit four free throws in the final 51 seconds as Elizabethtown held on in the consolation bracket of the Republic Bank Holiday Classic at Lexington Catholic.
Boley led the Lady Panthers with 25 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals, while sophomore forward Reauna Cleaver had 13 points, nine rebounds, one block and one steal.
Junior guard Kinsey Mudd hit four 3-pointers to score 12 points and Powell finished with eight points and three rebounds.
