Central Hardin Athletic Director Chris Bauer used a baseball analogy – since it is that time of year – to describe the school’s new football coach.
“I think we hit an absolute home run,” Bauer said Tuesday afternoon.
Bauer was speaking of Mark Perry, who was hired Tuesday morning to take over the program after Mike Lawson resigned in February. Perry comes with an impressive resume, serving on Guy Morriss’ staff at the University of Kentucky and Baylor University before earning his first head coaching job at Washington County.
