The Bulldogs built a 20-0 lead behind two Landon Savoy touchdowns less than 3 minutes into the second quarter en route to a 41-10 victory at Bruin Field. John Hardin improved to 6-0 against Central Hardin. The 31-point margin of victory was the second largest in the series behind a 38-2 win in 2004. Savoy, a sophomore halfback, rushed for 91 yards on eight attempts.
