Meade County’s defense is preparing for an air strike.

Nelson County senior Dylan Beasley has lit up opponents through the air.

Through seven games, the Cardinals’ quarterback has thrown for 30 touchdowns and leads the state in passing yards (2,830). He’s twice thrown for more than 500 yards in a game, leaving defenses wondering what hit them.

Veteran Green Wave coach Larry Mofield hopes they’re not next.
