PREP GIRLS' BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: North Hardin ends losing skid (01/08)

The North Hardin Lady Trojans put an end to their first losing streak of the season with a resounding finish.

Visiting North Hardin outscored Oldham County by 22 points in the second half en route to a 58-37 win Monday night.

Senior forward Chanel Roberts recorded team highs of 23 points, 14 rebounds and five steals, while junior guard Domeneque Taft added 14 points, seven rebounds and three steals.

Freshman guard Tamiah Stanford chipped in with 11 points and a co-team high four assists.

HART COUNTY 40, CENTRAL HARDIN 37. The homestanding Lady Raiders outscored the Lady Bruins (1-13), 25-17 in the second half as they rallied to snap an eight-game losing streak.

Junior guard Aislynn Barnes had nine points and six rebounds, while sophomore forward Melanie Humphrey added eight points and 11 rebounds off the bench.

Senior center Decarai Anderson chipped in with seven points and six rebounds.
