PREP SOCCER ROUNDUP: Central Hardin topples North Hardin (09/25)

Senior midfielder Mia Wiersema had three goals and two assists and junior attacker Jessi Bunch scored twice as the Central Hardin Lady Bruins mercy-ruled 17th District foe North Hardin, 10-0 on Tuesday night.

Senior midfielder Paula Donahue, sophomore attacker Tori Fulkerson and freshman attacker Emily Rucker each had a goal and an assist for the homestanding Lady Bruins (8-4, 5-1 district), who won for the fourth time in five matches.

Sophomore midfielder Chloe Sheeran and junior attacker Carly Dyrdek also scored for Central Hardin, which led 8-0 at the half. Sophomore midfielder Hadley Handel and sophomore defender Brittany Lowe each had an assist.

Junior keeper Jessica Durrance and freshman reserve Johnna Langford held North Hardin (4-8, 2-4) without a shot on goal.

The Lady Trojans lost for the sixth time in seven matches.
