Sophomore midfielder Nick Coffman scored in the 76th minute to give the visiting Elizabethtown Panthers a 3-2 victory over the Taylor County Cardinals.
“We were down quite a few starters and I had to rely on players who hadn’t gotten too much playing time,” said Elizabethtown coach Jon Parsons. “They played well, though. We possessed the ball and it was physical, so I was proud of the boys who stepped up and that's what matters.”
The Panthers (8-10-1) also got goals from sophomore defender Matthew Puckett in the 38th minute and senior midfielder Connor Kauffeld in the 47th minute.
Sophomore keeper Kaileb Bennett saved two shots by the Cardinals (6-9-1).

NORTH HARDIN 4, MARION COUNTY 2. Freshman forward Simeon Packer and senior defender Kevin Norton scored goals to break a second-half tie and lead the homestanding Trojans (8-10) to their third win in four games.
Senior midfielder Taylor Yates helped North Hardin go into halftime tied at 1 after taking a feed from Packer, and freshman midfielder Micah Linscott scored off a feed from freshman defender Sam Carter to tie the match at 2.
Junior forward Geoff Nelson and senior midfielder Chris Wood had assists. Junior keeper Andrew Rendon made two saves and sophomore keeper Josh Sheroan made three saves.

NO. 12 CENTRAL HARDIN 10, GRAYSON COUNTY 0. The homestanding Bruins (14-0-1) led 9-0 at halftime and won via the mercy rule less than 15 minutes into the second half.
Central Hardin got five goals from senior striker Jordan Mabe, giving him an area-leading 25. Sophomore midfielder Ben Heideman, senior midfielder Ryan Keeney, senior midfielder Maurice Thompson, junior midfielder Austin Moody and junior striker Isaac Pipta also scored.
Junior midfielders Zach Fonda and Seth Sereff had two assists apiece and junior back Jordan Smith, Keeney, junior back Alex Burgess, Heideman, Mabe and junior midfielder Cullen Duncan also had assists.
Sophomore keeper Garrett Kasey made two saves and junior keeper Andrew Schmit had one save.
