The North Hardin Trojans split two games Saturday.
Visiting North Hardin beat 17th District rival Fort Knox, 10-0 in one half and fell to homestanding Christian Academy of Louisville, 4-1.
* Freshman Simeon Packer had four goals and two assists, while freshman midfielder Micah Linscott added two goals and four assists as the Trojans (2-3, 1-1 district) rolled past Fort Knox (0-3, 0-1).
Senior midfielder Taylor Yates had two goals and two assists, and junior defender Isaiah Linscott and sophomore forward Tino Morales also scored. Senior midfielder Chris Wood and senior defender Kevin Norton each had an assist.
Junior keeper Andrew Rendon made three saves for North Hardin, which outshot Fort Knox, 27-3.
* Christian Academy scored three times in the second half, turning a one-goal game into a rout.
Yates scored off an assist from Wood for North Hardin, which outshot CAL, 22-10. Rendon made six saves.
UP NEXT: North Hardin hosts Central Hardin at 7 p.m. Thursday. Fort Knox plays at Elizabethtown at 7 p.m. Monday.
JOHN HARDIN 4, MARION COUNTY 3. Senior Jeremy Garcia recorded a hat trick, including the game-winner with 2:25 left, to lift the homestanding Bulldogs (2-1) over Marion County (2-0).
Garcia’s third goal came off a cross from sophomore Michael Dean.
“It was a good finish and good work by both of them,” John Hardin coach Alex Shearer said. “Jeremy took two touches and then tucked it near the back post.”
Junior Christian Bonifield had a goal and assist for John Hardin, while Dean had two assists and senior Brandon Peck had one.
Senior keeper Justin Hubert and junior reserve Ethan George each made one save.
UP NEXT: John Hardin plays at Lincoln County at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
LOUISVILLEBUTLER 3, ELIZABETHTOWN 0. Playing their first game on their new turf field, the Panthers (0-3) were shut out by the Bears (1-1).

MEADECOUNTY 2, OWENSBORO APOLLO 1. Freshman midfielder Anthony Hendrix scored an unassisted goal with about 15 minutes left to play, lifting the homestanding Green Wave (1-2) past Apollo (0-3).
Freshman forward Kyle Young also scored for Meade County, which had been held to two goals in its first two games.
Senior keeper Joe Psyck and senior reserve Corey Ford combined for five saves.
UP NEXT: Meade County plays at Butler County at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
GIRLS: ELIZABETHTOWN GOES 1-1 IN BLUEGRASS CUP.The Lady Panthers (1-3) lost to tournament host Oldham County, 3-1 in a shootout after beating Louisville Male, 2-1 earlier in the day.
* Senior midfielder Jesse Giles scored the Lady Panthers’ shootout goal, while sophomore midfielder Rebecca Black scored off an assist from junior forward Dani Wilson in regulation against Oldham County.
Senior keeper Haley Jones made 12 saves.
* Wilson scored two first-half goals to lead the Lady Panthers past Male for their first win of the season.
Elizabethtown had 14 shots on goal, while Male (0-4) had six.

FORTKNOX 2, MARION COUNTY 1. Senior midfielder Christina Rice played through an injury and scored twice to lift the visiting Lady Eagles (1-3) over 5th Region foe Marion County (0-3).
Rice gave Fort Knox a 1-0 lead early in the second half. After the Lady Knights tied it, she scored the game-winner with about 10 minutes left.
“She kind of got trucked within the first 5 minutes and spent the whole game limping, but she stuck it out and continued to play hard,” Fort Knox coach Melissa Fleisher said of Rice.
Junior keeper Brenna Stephenson made 16 saves.
