PREP SOFTBALL: Meade County falls in 11th District final, 6-3 (05/22)

The Meade County Lady Waves committed four errors and the Breckinridge County Lady Tigers scored three runs in the final two innings to break open what was once a tied game for a 6-3 win in the 11th District Softball Tournament championship game on Wednesday.

Trailing 3-1, Meade County (15-12) rallied in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game at 3-3. Breckinridge County (28-9) then scored two runs in the sixth and one in the seventh for its fifth consecutive win.
