A strong outing by junior April Pence and a potent offense carried No. 21 Central Hardin to an 8-0 win over visiting Louisville Butler on Thursday.
Pence (1-1) struck out eight and gave up two hits and two walks as the Lady Bruins won their fourth straight.
Her offense backed her up with seven extra-base hits. Freshman Mariah Bryant had a home run, two doubles and three RBIs, while senior Kelsey McGuffin homered and drove in two runs.
