Senior Jessica Nall got the sixth-ranked Central Hardin Lady Bruins rocking in the circle. Senior April Pence got them rolling at the plate.
Nall struck out 12 of the 16 batters she faced and allowed just one walk in five innings and Pence hit a three-run home run in the first inning as the Lady Bruins cruised past Bullitt Central, 10-0 in five innings Tuesday.
Junior Kelsey McGuffin added two singles, a double, two stolen bases, a run and an RBI, while sophomore Brooklyn Bryant went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and a run. Sophomore Mariah Bryant doubled, drove in a run and scored three times.

ELIZABETHTOWN11, COLLINS 9. Freshmen Taylor Thomas and Callie Sondergard combined for seven hits and six RBIs as the visiting Lady Panthers (1-0) held off Collins (0-4).
Thomas went 4-for-5 with two doubles, two singles and three RBIs, while Sondergard was 3-for-4 with two doubles, a single and three RBIs. Abby Thomas doubled, tripled and drove in three runs for Elizabethtown, which led 10-2 going to the bottom of the fourth.
Nicole Blackstone (1-0) struck out four and gave up eight earned runs, seven walks and six hits in seven innings.

LARUECOUNTY 9, BARDSTOWN BETHLEHEM 2. Senior Brigitte Skaggs pitched and hit the homestanding Lady Hawks (1-0) to a win over 5th Region rival Bethlehem (4-1).
In the circle, Skaggs struck out three and gave up five hits and two unearned runs. At the plate, she went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run in the fourth, a single and three RBIs.
Junior Sierra Mullins had two doubles and an RBI and sophomore Jill Hughes hit a two-run double for the Lady Hawks, who led 5-0 after three and 8-2 after four.
Senior Courtney Johnson singled and doubled, while junior Emillee Cundiff had two singles.

ELIZABETHTOWN 3, LOUISVILLE SOUTHERN 1. Sophomore right-hander Hunter Sullivan struck out nine and scattered three hits and one earned run in 5 1/3 innings as the homestanding Panthers (1-0) knocked off the Trojans (1-2).
Sullivan (1-0), who gave up just three singles, struck out the first two hitters he faced on six pitches.
“He was around the strike zone all day,” Elizabethtown coach Don Pitts said. “He had a lot of quick innings and we played good defense behind him. I’m very pleased with his work today.”
Junior Jesse Morris had a double, while senior Jon Tarrence had an RBI single. Sullivan added a sac fly RBI for the Panthers, who led 3-0 after four innings.

NO. 3 CENTRAL HARDIN 7, GLASGOW 5. The homestanding Bruins (1-1) picked up their first win of the season by topping previously unbeaten Glasgow (3-1).
Sophomores Justin Rouse and Ben Heideman had two hits apiece, while sophomore Ean Barker launched a three-run home run in the third inning.
Junior Luke McCamish threw four innings to earn the win, and Barker earned the save.
