PREP SPORTS: Godfrey to receive St. Xavier Alumni Hall of Honors induction (10/02)

Before graduating from Louisville St. Xavier High School in 1955, future Elizabethtown doctor William Godfrey — then known as Billy or Bill — was voted Most Likely to Succeed by his 240 fellow seniors.

Even back then, those teens knew what they were talking about.

Godfrey, who began practicing medicine in Hardin County in the early 1970s, will be inducted into St. Xavier’s Alumni Hall of Honors next week at a ceremony in the school’s Sterne Gymnasium.
