PREP TRACK: North appears to be the favorite at conference meet (5/12)

By JOSH CLAYWELL jclaywell@thenewsenterprise.com ELIZABETHTOWN — Dickie Jones must feel like a Churchill Downs oddsmaker when trying to pick a favorite for today’s Lincoln Trail Heritage Athletic Conference Track and Field Meet beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Elizabethtown Area Youth Football league’s field at Elizabethtown High School. But after winning the North Hardin Invitational on Saturday, Jones feels the odds-on favorite has to be the defending champion North Hardin boys. “They’ve performed well,” Jones said Sunday.
