The landscape of prep track and field and cross country in Kentucky is changing, though it’s not the sweeping changes some thought was imminent.
In its board of control meeting Monday at Northern Kentucky University, the KHSAA approved realignment for both sports. The changes take effect immediately, according to a release by the KHSAA.
One of the changes involves an area school: John Hardin is dropping to Class 2-A from 3-A after seeing enrollment drop below the 1,050 student average cutoff.
