Central Hardin needed nearly half a set Tuesday before it got its motor running in the 17th District Volleyball Tournament semifinals at Elizabethtown.

The two-time defending champion Lady Bruins had to adjust to a different slow down tempo than from the last week of the regular season.

Once they did, they didn’t sputter too much anymore.
