The Elizabethtown Lady Panthers improved to 9-1 against 5th Region competition with a 25-14, 25-22 win over the visiting Taylor County Lady Cardinals on Thursday.

“We played to our competitor. We didn’t play poorly, but we didn’t play as well as we do sometimes,” Elizabethtown coach Tim Hinkle said. “A positive is that we had a lot of different players lead in different categories, which is good for the team.”
