The homestanding Elizabethtown Lady Panthers ran their winning streak to three after picking up two wins Saturday.
Elizabethtown beat Collins, 3-1 (25-17, 25-21, 25-27, 25-18) and came from behind to knock off Louisville Whitefield in five sets (22-25, 25-17, 19-25, 25-23, 15-13).
Against Collins, junior Brooke Chancey had three aces and career highs with 10 kills and four blocks. Senior middle blocker Hannah Wurth chipped in with a career high 12 kills, eight blocks and two aces, while senior middle blocker Rachel Shipp had two kills and a career best five blocks.
Senior libero Rebecca Hepner had 18 digs, seven kills and six aces.
Against Whitefield, the Lady Panthers came back from seven points down to win the fourth set and trailed by five in the fifth before rallying for the win.
Wurth led Elizabethtown with 12 kills, seven blocks, two aces and one dig, while Hepner had a career best 11 kills, 10 digs, five aces and two assists.
Chancey had eight kills, two aces, two blocks and two assists, and senior outside hitter Kristen Lile added seven kills and two blocks.
“We played some good competition today and I’m proud of their effort and attitude,” Lady Panthers coach Bart Catlett said. “We’re looking forward to Tuesday.”

CENTRAL HARDIN PLACES THIRD IN OWENSBORO. The Lady Bruins went 4-1 over the weekend in the Apollo Summer Slam.
Central Hardin beat Daviess County (25-19, 24-26, 15-13) and Warren East (25-21, 25-13) and lost to Apollo (25-23, 25-21) on Saturday.
The Lady Bruins beat Caldwell County (25-8, 15-25, 15-4) and Owensboro (25-10, 21-25, 15-5) on Friday.
