Blake Proffitt loves the city of Vine Grove.
He has spent most of his life there. It’s where he is raising his family. He calls Vine Grove “my Mayberry.’’
Now, the 49-year-old, is charged with leading the city as it faces challenges that come with a growing population.
“It is where I always wanted to raise my kids; it has always had a small town feel,’’ Proffitt said of Vine Grove. “You can get to places like Louisville and Nashville without too much trouble if that’s what you want from here.
