As part of downtown Elizabethtown’s Second Saturday event, Brown-Pusey House, Wild Earth Gallery and Sugar Fashion Cakes will host a progressive dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 9.

The meal starts at Wild Earth Gallery with salads and appetizers. Then, heavy hors d’ouevres will be served at Brown-Pusey House. Dinner wraps up with dessert at Sugar Fashion Cakes.

The event runs in tandem with an open house at Brown-Pusey House. The historic house will be decorated for the holidays and a piano player will keep the music going, said executive director Twylane Van Lahr. All are welcome to check out the house and decorations, but the meal is a ticketed event.

“All together, it’s something fun for people to do downtown,” Van Lahr said, noting each dinner stop is convenient to the Cherry Alley parking lot.

Sponsored by Tony York’s on Main, the dinner features a number of culinary selections including country ham, sweet potato crumpets and brie-infused dates with bacon.

“It’s not your average corndog,” Van Lahr said.

Tickets are $20 and reservations are required by Wednesday. Call 270-765-2515 or stop by one of the participating locations for tickets.
