After a Hardin County jury failed to reach a verdict Friday regarding the death of a 1-month-old boy, local prosecutors are pursuing a second trial while the baby’s father remains in jail.
Jarrod Davis, 24, of Radcliff, was indicted in January on charges of murder and first-degree criminal abuse in the death of his son, Ja’Vion. The infant, who was 5 weeks old, was found dead in his crib Jan. 15 with bloody mucous flowing from his nose.
