An Elizabethtown detective spotted the vehicle minutes later on Oaklawn Drive where he asked the driver to shut off the Tahoe and get out, according to EPD. Police believe Daugherty was operating the vehicle.

Officers pursued the Tahoe, which reached speeds of more than 80 mph on Ring Road, according to a citation.

At the 8100 block of U.S. 31W, the “subject drove through the backyard, went (airborne) then attempted to drive over the railroad tracks where the vehicle stopped,” the citation reads.

Two females got out of the vehicle and attempted to continue fleeing on foot, police said. After receiving verbal commands, one stopped, according to the citation.

Amanda A. Hunt, 23, of Horse Cave, was arrested and charged with shoplifting, according to EPD.
