A Radcliff man was arrested late Wednesday night, a week after police say he struck a woman in the head with a revolver and then dragged her out of her residence.

Ricky L. Starry, 32, was arrested at a Radcliff residence.

According to an arrest citation, on the evening of Nov. 20, Starry entered a residence on South Wilson Road in Radcliff and pulled out a black revolver. Starry is accused of striking a woman, with whom he previously had been living, on the back of the head before dragging her out of the home.

“(The woman) sustained an injury consistent with being struck on the back of the head, causing a raised knot,” according to the citation.

Once outside the home, Starry attempted to place the woman in the passenger seat of a vehicle but was unsuccessful. The woman said she and Starry lived together up until a few days prior to the incident, according to the citation.

Starry is charged with a Class C felony, second-degree assault-domestic violence. If found guilty, he could face 10 years in prison.

He remained in the Hardin County Detention Center as of Saturday afternoon on a $5,000 full cash bond.
