Radcliff man jailed on sex offense charge from 2003

RADCLIFF —  A Radcliff man has been jailed after police charged him with sexual abuse from a fondling incident which allegedly happened five years ago.

Michael Eugene Thomas, 44, of Homestead Avenue, was arrested Wednesday on the Class C felony charge of sexual abuse after Radcliff Police Department’s Crimes Against Women and Children Unit investigated claims brought against him.

Since state legislators tightened up laws on sex offenses, sexual abuse is punishable by as much as 10 years imprisonment.
