Radcliff Rotary Club honors Rowsey as Student of the Month

The Radcliff Rotary recently hosted its Student of the Month Kayla Rowsey and her parents at lunch. Kayla, a senior at Fort Knox High School, has her sites set on a political science major next year and eventually law school and a career in government. She was presented with a $25 Walmart gift card courtesy of the Fort Knox Federal Credit Union by Club President Dr Gail Phoenix.

The guest speaker Howard Williams, who in the “Know your Rotarian” series related his life from Utah cowboy to soldier to business man and college professor. Williams military career was unique including a tour with the Joint Chiefs of Staff and some airborne intelligence work in the Pacific area that found him an Army NCO with more flight hours than many Air Force personnel. He is standing with Club President Dr. Gail Phoenix.
