Radcliff Rotary Club members welcome Ward

Captain John Ward, commander of KY State Police Post 4 in Elizabethtown spoke at a recent Radcliff Rotary Club meeting. Ward was raised on a family farm in Upton and attended East Hardin High School, then Elizabethtown Community College and Eastern Kentucky University. Formerly of the Vine Grove police department, he has been with the KSP since 1986, holding numerous positions across the state. He gave club members an idea of what the state police do beside patrolling highways and is pleased with the cooperative relationships that have developed with local law enforcement agencies. He is pictured with Club President Dr. Gail Phoenix. Phoenix announced the Radcliff Rotary Spring fundraiser auction is March 8 at Colvin Community Center in Radcliff. An array of quality objects will be available to the public and food will be served. More details will follow.
