Sheila Enyart, Yvonne High, Pat Nuccitelli and Becky Brecht of the Radcliff Woman’s Club attended the GFWC/Kentucky 4th District Winter Conference on Feb. 16 in Campbellsville.
The Fourth District consists of Bullitt County, Campbellsville, Columbia, Elizabethtown, Elizabethtown Junior and Radcliff woman’s clubs.
Entertainment during the conference was a program presented by the international students from Campbellsville University. These students from China, Japan and South Korea sang songs and played music on the piano and violin. Their selections were native to their home countries.
The conference also featured the judging of student arts and craft pieces entered by the six individual clubs from within the Fourth district.
Sheila Enyart, arts chairman of the Radclff Woman’s Club, obtained the club entries from students at John Hardin High School.
Entries submitted by the Radcliff Woman’s Club that placed in the competition were Kayla Rudder, third place, computer design; Lucia Yammaccia, third place, watercolor and drawing; Emily Konecny, third place, sculpture; Kayla Skees, third place, painting; Lora Sparks, second place, photography; Holden Yates, second place, sculpture; and Conner O’Daniel, first place, watercolor. O’Daniels’ watercolor will advance to the state contest in Louisville in April.
The Fourth District Fall Conference is Sept. 21 and will be hosted by the Bullitt County Woman’s Club.
