Radcliff Woman’s Club members have May meeting

President-elect Becky Brecht opened the May 14 meeting of the Radcliff Woman’s Club by asking Sheila Enyart to lead in the Pedge of Allegiance. Yvonne High read two poems, “My Inspiration” and “You’re always Welcome in my Heart”.


Emma Day of Home Life presented a program on identity theft and safeguarding credit cards. Day recommeded members scrutinize their credit card statements thoroughy. She said if there is evidence of misuse, contact the issuer immediaely and have the card deactivated. To prevent identity theft, she suggested members watch their outgoing mail and not disclose personal information to anyone on the telephone.

During the business portion of the meeting, corresponding secretary Doris Browder read thank you letters received from the library for the donation of funds to purchase three outstanding children’s books and for hosting the branch library’s grand re-opening.

Members also discussed participation in Hooray for Heroes, Relay for Life, Crossway Walk for Life and catering the realtors luncheon.

May hostesses were, Maria Batistoni, Abbie Richarson, Anne Flanagan, Donna Hooker and Marcia Jackson.
