Radcliff Woman’s Club names their ‘Woman of the Year’

The Radcliff Woman’s Club honored member Julie Aldridge as the 2010 “Woman of the Year” at the Dec. 13 meeting. The award was given annually to a member who best represents the woman’s club, dedicating time and energy to the organization and setting a positive example to others.
Aldridge joined the club in 1995. She has been active in the club serving as treasurer for two years, parliamentarian for one year, legislative chairman for one year and chairman of the city of Radcliff beautification program for two years. Through her leadership this committee organized efforts with the city of Radcliff, the Master Gardeners, the Radcliff Lions and the North Hardin High School Future Farmers of America to raise funds and to plant trees and shrubs at City Park North.
Aldridge’s most recent achievement was to serve as chairman of the 2010 candidate forum. She proposed and organized a mayoral and city council candidate forum for the citizens of Radcliff.
