The Radcliff Woman’s club took an active part in the Nov. 2 election. Hope Escobedo, Becky Brecht and Josette Roush worked as election officers and were at the polls at 5 a.m. and stayed until 6 p.m. when the polls officially closed.
Volunteering as officials in Kids Voting were Vada Johnson, Pat Crosby, Doris Browder, Carlo Triplett, Betty Olive, Maria Batistoni, Barbara Hayes, Kathy Eubanks, Pat Nuccitelli and Mary Agnes Sears. Sears, working with Judy Banks of Hardin County Kids Voting, coordinated the hours and placement of the Radcliff Woman’s Club members at various precincts in Radcliff. At the close of the day, the ballot boxes were taken to the Challenger Learning Center where Eubanks and Hayes were assigned. They then took the ballots to HCEC-TV for official counting.
The Radcliff Woman’s Club meets the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Colvin Community Center. For more information about the club call Eubanks at 982-2885.
