Radcliff Woman’s Club members have completed several projects recently that have helped beautify the city of Radcliff. One of the projects undertaken by Jeannene Shipp of the Conservation Department was to plant flowers in front of The Bookstore and at the base of their sign. Margo Kampe, Shipp, Kathy Eubanks, Barbara Proffitt, Barb Hayes and Pat Nuccitelli met on May 15 to undertake the project, despite the possibility of heavy rains. They pulled weeds, aerated the soil and planted more than seven dozen salvias and several rose bushes. In addition to paying for the flowers, store owner Jerry Brown donated $100 toward the club’s general fund. Other ongoing beautification projects include maintaining a flower plot at Saunders Springs and replanting flowers as needed at several garden spots at Radcliff City Park North.
