The April meeting of Radcliff Woman’s Club opened with a lesson in spirituality brought by Suzie Broadwater suggesting that the members listen to the sill voice inside.
There were two speakers for the evening. The first was Jerry Deom of Option Care. He shared his experience of 45 years as a pharmacist. He started in 1963 at Woolridge Drugs in Vine Grove and is now the owner of Option Care which has a service area of Radcliff, Elizabethtown and other neighboring communities.
The second speaker was Jim Bruce of Hardin County Sewer System. The Hardin County Water System started in 1952 even before the city of Radcliff was incorporated. In the 1980s, the sewer system was separated from the water system and is now a part of Veolia which serves several thousand customers. Of interest were two question asked from the floor: that Vine Grove operates its own sewer system and that the water for the water system comes from Pirtle Springs.
