Ida Lillian Cain Raine celebrated her 100th birthday Nov. 12 with a reception for family and employees and residents of Riverfront Nursing Home in Bradenton, Fla.
She was one of seven children born in Hardin County to Lewis and Mattie Cain. She married Rondal Raine in 1934, and moved to Radcliff. She moved from Radcliff to Bradenton in November 2002. She was an active member of Stovall United Methodist Church, an original member of the Golden Circle, Radcliff Homemakers and Eastern Star. Her hobbies include quilting, planting flowers, making a garden and spending time with children.
She has a daughter, Ann Raine Hawkins, a son, the late Mac Raine, and a stepdaughter, the late Fern Raine Atcher; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
