Some families, like the Gellers from the TV show “Friends”, leave a room as a shrine to a child but many others look for opportunities to reclaim the room from the sports posters and teen idols that used to hang from the walls. In the Gellers case while Ross’ room was left a shrine, Monica’s was turned into a home gym.
