Local police were on the lookout Thursday for a registered sex offender and part-time Elizabethtown resident wanted in connection to the alleged rape of a juvenile in Campbellsville, but the man turned himself in before officers located him.
David Lee Taylor, 52, of Campbellsville, turned himself in around 5 p.m. Thursday in Campbellsville, according to Elizabethtown Police Department spokesman Virgil Willoughby. Taylor was wanted on charges of first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy and first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.
